Baguio Centennial DAC No. 20 Reactivated & Installs New Set of Officers

The DeMolay Alumni Association of the Philippines (DAAP), a recognized body under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines, had recently approved the reactivation and good standing status of Baguio Centennial DeMolay Alumni Chapter No. 20 located in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines.

Subsequently, Baguio Centennial DeMolay Alumni Chapter conducted its Installation of Officers for term 2017-2018 last April 3, 2017 at the Baguio Lodge No. 67 Masonic Temple along Yandoc Street, Baguio City.

The following Senior DeMolays were installed as the new set of officers of the alumni chapter: Brother Reimon Gutierrezas as Chapter President; Brother Jed Bautista as Vice President; Brother Marion Kristoffer Soriano as Secretary; Brother Gregory Cawis II as Treasurer; Brother Ethan Allen Cadiogan as Auditor; Brother Paul Joshua Subas as Public Relations Officer; and Brother Jose Romualdo Carpio III as Chaplain.

Brother Legionnaire Alvin L. Llanderal, Chev. LOH, National Secretary of the DAAP, was the Installing Officer with Brother Miguel Gimeno as Installing Marshal, Brother Joven Barrientos as Installing Deacon, and Brother Richard Viloria as Installing Chaplain.

Brother Romulus B. Catipon, Chev., DAAP Executive Vice President, read and delivered the inspirational message of Brother Anwar Sabdani P. Hadjirul, Jr., DAAP National President, who was the Guest of Honor and Speaker of the affair but failed to come due to unavoidable circumstances.

The following were the other notable dignitaries in attendance: WM Juan Alexander Bigornia, Worshipful Master of Baguio Lodge No. 67; Dad Henry Padilla, Chapter Advisor of Baguio Chapter, Order of DeMolay; Brother Regentor Gutierrez, Master Councilor of Baguio Chapter; Brother Legionnaire Melvin M. Calimlim, Chev. LOH, Executive Officer for Region I-B, Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay; and Brother Renjienald G. Estrella, Chev., DAAP National Chaplain.

After the installation ceremony, dinner and fellowship was held at the Pepper Strings Bar and Restaurant in Baguio City.
